TN: Introduce yourself and where you’re from.
DB: My name is D.B. aka Big Spit aka Mr. Money Bag$ aka The Sexasaurus (growl) I’m a Rich Man from the mean streets of Richmond, California. I’m the coolest individual in the WORLD!
TN: From Richmond, California? Didn’t know rappers came from there. (laughs) Just playing. How did you get into this game?
DB: My brother was a rapper back in the mid 80’s to the early 90’s and it felt natural for me to get into it. I have a strong lust for music and I don’t know who I would be if I didn’t have her in my life.
TN: How long you’ve been lusting for music?
DB: I’ve been making music since 1993. Big ups to Mr. Broadstreets rock band at Highland!!
TN: Who influences you?
DB: Jesus Christ, 2Pac, and lots of Swisher Sweets. (laughs)
TN: Ok, enough of that, enough of that! Describe your style?
DB: My style is unpredictable and limitless therefore, EXTRA COOL! I’m cough drop fresh and my cashmere swagger is backed by intent and purpose. I like to think that I always have something relevant and original to say. I have a purpose!
TN: What do you think makes you different from other cats out there?
DB: The real question is….what makes me like other cats?- NOTHING!
TN: Ok, I guess that says it all. So, what projects do you have coming up?
DB: The Cashmere Swagger Experience will arrive in time for the fall.
TN: Where do you see yourself in 5 to 10 years?
DB: Alive and wealthy or in heaven.
